This is a postcard that I have made to send to a friend in England.
Used torn papers and a vintage photo. Stamped the butterfly on an old book end paper and cut out. Added some distress inks, rubber stamps and a sentiment. The size is standard postcard size - 6 x 4 inches.
TFL.

Joy, this is lovely - the colours are gorgeous and the stamping adds a real depth. Sweet vintage image too.
xx
Joy - thanks so much for your comments - I was really tired last night after a day of spring cleaning before company arrives. I sat down with not much on my mind. The more the pen swirled around the tile the more relaxed i felt, so the challenge this week was really therapeutic!
And I'm in awe of your vintage art!!! The colors and composition are wonderful, and Joanna is right about that sweet vintage photo. We all have our loves and talents and that's what makes all the blogging so much fun! Glad we found each other ;-0
Gosh Joy haw long has it been since I've been over? I have some catching up to do.

Hi Joy,
This card is gorgeous--I love all the distressing and the vintage look. Love the butterfly and you did an awesome job. Have a great weekend.
The colors are so perfect.
Joy
what a precious piece of art. I love the colors and composition and am sure your friend will be so tickled. Thank you for the kind words on my blog - I love Kris Allen's version of the song, but there is another group (celtic) that I love even more...however they do not have the song on Playlist. Have a wonderful Tuesday! :)
